On Sunday at 12:30pm, residents and visitors alike will line Main Avenue for what is said to be one of the area’s best parades. Nearly 100 units will participate this year, including local and visiting royalty, antique cars, tractors, horses, politicians, community groups, and a host of local businesses.

Each year, the parade features an outstanding citizen from the community. They’ve been practicing their smiles and waves, so be sure to cheer when you see them!

The STMA Marching Knights are the featured band, and area high school bands will also be performing in exhibition. Bring your lawn chairs, bring your family, and bring your friends to join in the fun. Awards for the local and visiting royalty units are presented during the Coronation at the STMA High School.

The parade starts at 12:30 SHARP, with lineup starting at 10am along Barthel Industrial Drive. The parade starts on 59th street and runs south on Main Avenue to 50th Street. The parade can be viewed anywhere along Main Avenue. There will be an announcers/judges stand at 56th street. Marching Bands disperse at the STMA Middle School West. Portable toilets and garbage receptacles are available along the parade route. Please help keep Albertville clean by using the receptacles. Blowups, toys, and concessions stands are available along the parade route.
